The Great Credit Union Contest Official Rules

Eligibility. You are eligible to enter the Contest if you are (a) a legal U.S. resident located in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, (b) age 18 years or older as of June 7, 2010, and (c) not an employee, or family or household member of an employee, of the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (“NAFCU”), NAFCU Services Corporation, or any federal or state credit union. Family or household member includes spouse, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, roommate, housemate, significant other, partner, and sibling. Your credit union must be a NAFCU Member or CULookup.com subscriber.
How to Enter. You must have Internet access to participate in the Contest. To enter the Contest you must complete the online contest registration form at www.CULookup.com/contest and provide a statement in 200 words or less or a link to a video of three (3) minutes or less on why you joined a credit union or what makes your credit union great (your “entry”). The contest registration form requires you to provide your first and last name, street address, city, state, zip code, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, and the name of the federal or state credit union of which you are a member. You are limited to one entry.
Entry Deadline. All entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time on July 7, 2010.
Judging. Your entry will be judged by representatives of NAFCU, NAFCU Services Corporation or any other individual appointed by them at their sole discretion, whose decision will be final. Entries will be judged on the basis of appropriateness to theme, originality, creativeness, and public appeal. Judging will be completed within five days of the Entry Deadline. Winners will be notified by e-mail.
Prizes. There will be two (2) First Prizes, four (4) Second Prizes, fifteen (15) Third Prizes, and thirty (30) Fourth Prizes. First Prize is a $500 Discover Gift Card. Second Prize is a $250 Discover gift card. Third Prize is a CULookup.com T-shirt (value $15). Fourth Prize is a CULookup.com coffee mug (value $7).

By submitting your entry, you agree that if you are awarded a prize, NAFCU Services may verify the information you provided on your contest registration form, including your credit union membership, as a condition of your receiving the prize.

All prizes are awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. All local, state and federal taxes are the sole responsibility of winners.

Your chance of being awarded a prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Rights and Requirements. By submitting your entry, you warrant (a) that it does not infringe any copyright or trademark, and (b) that it is your original work and not a copy or imitation of someone else’s work.

By submitting your entry, you agree that you are irrevocably assigning, conveying, and otherwise transferring to NAFCU and NAFCU Services, their successors and assigns, any and all right, title, and interest in perpetuity throughout the world in and to your entry, including, without limitation, any and all copyrights, trademarks, contract and licensing rights, moral rights, and other intellectual property and proprietary rights, and the exclusive right to edit, change, revise, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, license, sub-license, and sell your entry in whole or in part, and to prepare, use, or exploit derivative works or improvements thereof, in all forms and media now or hereafter known, all in NAFCU’s and NAFCU Services’ sole discretion.

By participating in the Contest, you agree to have your name, city, state, likeness, and/or credit union membership and essay or video content used in any advertising, marketing or promotional material, or award of any prize, without additional financial or other consideration.
Release and Hold Harmless. By participating in the Contest you agree to release and hold harmless NAFCU and NAFCU Services Corporation, and their officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives, from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from participation in the Contest or the award of any prize.
Winner List. Winners will be posted on www.CULookup.com/contest by August 7, 2010. To receive a list of the winners, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to NAFCU Services Corporation, ATTN:
Winners List, 3138 10th St. N, Arlington, VA 22201. All requests for a winner list must be mailed and received after July 7, 2010 and prior to November 7, 2010.
